Thresholds

During the period of the COVID-19 restrictions, I explored the confinements of the 5km rule that was implemented to reduce spreading. This project led to the confinement of my living space and the lack of connection to the outside world which brought a sense of claustrophobia.

Research

Exploring spaces in between through a series of that I did on a walk. I walked around my 2k to find numbers on doors, signs etc until I reached the number 10. I sketched the scene quickly, took some notes then came back and painted with watercolour.
