Julia Filip 

Currently studying at the National College of Art and Design, doing a joint honours Fine Art and Education degree specialising in Painting. Presently she is preparing for the undergraduate show. Her practice is informed by nature and her experiences as a woman touching base on sustainable development goal number 4 - Gender Quality and women's empowerment. This informs her teaching practice by implementing the importance of the development goals throughout her units of learning.

During her free time, Julia likes to engage in local projects to develop her practice as a teacher and artist. Presently she is working with the City of Dublin E.T.B. to provide local primary school children with Arts and crafts projects during the Easter and Summer breaks and in 2022 completed a project with Dublin City Council 'Dublin Canvas' an initiative to bring colour to the streets of Dublin.
